NY’s hottest rapper is the infamous CISE. The streets know him for his influential and terse flow always relating to the hip hop heads and definitely touching the ladies. CISE is the new epitome of street hip hop. The struggling MC is the TRUTH… he is the “street reporter”. He brings to the table his story of everyday hood life. In doing so, he promotes unity and the enjoyment of life through music.
Battling underground, CISE gained fame in local spots. CISE molded his prominent style through joining various rap groups such as DA CORPORATION, TEKNOWLEDGYTHUGZ, A.K.O ENT., A MILLION WORTH, FALLOUT SHELTER and his click DA FIFTY POUNDAS, which he led as the front man. Before the rap game though, he was Phillip Frazier, born in Harlem, NY and raised in the Bronx. In 1993, he moved to VA where he attended Menchville High School, there it all began. Rhyming in the lunchroom, classroom, wherever he had an audience. As a young MC, he appeared to be destined to make a mark in the music industry. Though in VA, he never could let go of his home city, he maintained that NY flavor, which was influenced by musical legends: Eric B. Rakim, NAS, Jay-Z, Biggie and many more.
He appeared on several underground mix tapes—“Best of Concise”—which has circulated in the streets of New York. He featured on N.O.N.S.T.O.P. MUSIK MIXTAPES HOSTED BY DJ PRO & FALLOUT RADIO MIXTAPES. He also featured on music videos: Tekitha featuring GHOSTFACE (You) (2002). He definitely holds the streets down. In addition, this guy has a tone that appears to radio. He has been “GO TO” guy for radios promos on 88.1 WHOV Hampton University’s College Radio for several years.
CISE is no stranger to hard work. While pursuing a career in the music industry, he was a partner with 7 CITY DIVAS SWIMSUIT CALENDARS, Inc. He appeared in numerous of showcases such as MISSY ELLIOTT’S CONVENTION (1998), CLUB SHOWCASE (1996), JIMMY’S CAFE (2002), FASHION SHOWS, CLUB PAR 5 (2004), CLUB MIRAGE (1998) HOSTOS COLLEGE (2002) CLUB MIDWAYS NYC (2007-08), PYRAMID LOUNGE NYC (2008) & KARMA LOUNGE (2008).
